The 2019 Honda Pilot can be ordered in 7 or 8 seats (the second row may be equipped with captain chairs), hence it has family features as well. CabinControl enables several smart phones to be connected letting passengers follow the route, select music (Social Playlist), and control rear climate settings. The CabinTalk allows the voices of the front occupants to be played out through the speakers to the occupants in the second and third rows. Besides that, the car also has internet connectivity to multiple devices through 4G LTE Wi-Fi.

The 3.5 liter gasoline V6 had not changed and was generating 280 hp and the 6 speed automatic to the lower priced models also did not change. The i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system also was carried over but with an electronically controlled rear differential to deliver torque to each rear wheel through a separate clutch. The calibration of the 9-speed automatic was corrected: the car starts in second gear (however, in Sport mode, and in the Snow and Mud, it starts in first); Idle Stop is turned off and the engine restarts quicker.

Base trim has LED low beam, automatic shut-off of high-beam, hill-start assist, Honda Sensing package (adaptive cruise control, automatic-braking, lane-keeping assist) and three rows of seats, 5-inch infotainment display and a rear view camera.

In the case of the top trim, it can be equipped with a panoramic roof, three-zone climate control, front seats and rear captain chairs (both rows with perforated upholstery) heated and ventilated, 590-watt audio system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, and a wireless smartphone charger.
