This is precisely one year after the introduction of the Honda Prologue sales in the United States, an electric SUV with a length of 4.88 meters that was designed with the help of the car giants General Motors. Happily, not in vain does this creature make the well-known Ultium platform, designed by the American company and on which at least some good half-dozen electric cars are also founded, Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Blazer, and even Acura ZDX, which can be called the premium brother of this Honda Prologue.

Even the Japanese company herself was amazed by the reception in the United States of customers of this Honda Prologue, since nearly 35,000 units of this Honda Prologue have already been sold, which they are now supplying with updates, some of them being designed to maximize the efficiency and consequent range.

The Honda Prologue has a 85 kWh capacity battery.

The Japanese company has not disclosed what the advances made to enhance the efficiency of this Honda Prologue have been and currently the front-wheel-drive model has raised its average scope on the EPA cycle to 308 miles (496 kilometers), a 12-mile (19 kilometers) increment in contrast to what was formerly presented. However, the point at which they can also promise that there is no change whatsoever is in its lithium-ion battery, which still has 85 kWh of capacity and can charge between 10 and 80 percent within 35 minutes.

The front-wheel-drive models of Honda Prologue are not the only ones that extend their range, as those that come with two motors also extend 13 miles (21 kilometers) to 294 miles (473 kilometers) on charge. That applies to the EX and Touring trims, which are fitted with 255/60 R19 tires since the Elite, being offered only with two motors, are only good for 283 miles (455 kilometers), which is also 10 less than in the past. However, the latter are reinforced by tires 275/45 R21.

Honda Prologue is a 100 percent electric C-segment crossover vehicle produced by the Japanese Company, Honda, since 2024. The initial generation is already on sale, which was offered in 2022. The Honda Prologue was a joint venture between the Asian firm and General Motors, in this instance, they shared BEV3 platform with Ultium motor with the Blazer EV or the Lyriq.

Other SUVs of its rival Honda Prologue include the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Hyundai IONIQ 5, the Kia EV6, the MG Marvel R, the Toyota bZ4X, the Nissan Ariya or the Skoda Enyaq iV.

The pictures are unambiguous and Honda Prologue is expected to be that much-needed electric counterpart to the Honda CR-V, with the same dimensions, predetermined with the length, 4.88 meters, the width, 1.99, the height, 1.64, and, finally, but certainly not the least, the wheelbase, 3.09 meters. Exploiting those features as a battery-powered car so that the designers at the Los Angeles studio could make the most out of the interior (it has a wheelbase 203 millimeters longer than the Honda CR-V), minimizing the overhangs at the extremes, and creating an image that is very compact.

It may be regarded as a quite traditional shape of a car which was designed to be fully electric, the primary distinguishing feature in its faired grille and the so-called cuneteros in LED technology and a vertical position. The charging port would be put in the front right wheel arch and does not disrupt the harmony of a side aesthetic that preserves that trait without being stridgy or having a rugged feel which is specifically North American market oriented. The two light clusters at the back are combined with a strip piece where the brand name lies on in the newer typography.
