The new Honda Prelude uses the e:HEV hybrid system as the power architecture. It is based on a 2.0-liter gasoline engine that is direct-injected with a develop of 143 hp (105 kW) and based on the Atkinson cycle. A strong electric motor (184 hp 135 kW) and a strong torque of 315 Nm complement its work, and they are due to the fast reaction of the accelerator pedal.
