According to the official statistics, 2010 Honda Odyssey was the most popular minivan in the United States.

In the Honda Odyssey, the fifth generation, dynamic sculpting on the side doors and an unusual broken line on the bottom edge of the glazing have helped to give the car a significantly more aggressive appearance, the Honda designers refer to this as a lightning bolt. It is not just a stylistic solution: due to this solution, the third-row passengers have a significantly nicer view.

Honda Odyssey was lowered and widened slightly compared to the previous generation, thus contributing to the improved aerodynamics of the minivan and, therefore, decreased the fuel consumption. Interior features of the MPV included an input to a high-definition video player and a split-screen system which were necessities in a family-trip car.

The 2010 Honda Odyssey under the hood features a redesigned 24-valve 3.5 liter V6. The engine was fitted with a new two-stage intake manifold to enhance the breathing, and it makes 248 horsepower. Odyssey is also equipped with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) that electronically regulates the mode of operation of the valves, so that unnecessary cylinders/valves could be shut-off when the engine was in the economy mode.

The safety of Honda Odyssey is also amazing. Normal safety devices are; Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), 4 channel ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, and Brake Assist. The car is also overloaded with airbags. Also, the Honda odyssey is equipped with a new technology called Detection System which switches off the side airbags in case a child is leaning against the door.
