2018 Honda HR-V is a front-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive K1 category of crossover. On June 28, 2018, official data regarding the facelifted version of the second generation of the model was released, and U.S. sales began on July 24, 2018.

The least large of the three Honda crossovers has, as part of the facelift, some of the corporate style of the brand that causes it to look like the already revised Civic and Accord: the badge is now mounted on a broad light horizontal bar (it used to be completed in dark gloss), and beneath it are cells rather than bars. The headlights were given a new interior design and a bit of a redesigned shape. The front bumper exposes remodeled surfaces and fresh pattern of the front fog lights. The back was virtually unchanged, and it was only the bottom section of the bumper that was slightly changed.

The interiors have been changed in minor ways: the major difference is a new multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen (it has lost the CD drive; the touchscreen has replaced the touch-based volume control with a rotary one) that is now capable of using both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There was also the implementation of small displays (replacing the previous pods on the right and left sides of the speedometer) (on the left, one of the drawn tachometers; the one on the right can also be used to display the navigation information). Otherwise, it is the same: the climate control has touch buttons, an expansive storage bin with smartphone ports lies beneath the center tunnel, and the dashboard has a huge air vent in front of the passenger.
