Honda experts did not focus on only modifying the car design and improved the technical aspect of the Pilot. 2011 Honda Pilot uses a 3.5 liter gasoline V6 which generates 249 hp and 347 Nm. The screw of the engine engineers succeeded in minimizing the losses of friction within the unit, consequently causing an average fuel consumption of 11.2 liters per 100km with two-wheel-drive version and 11.8 liters with all wheel drive version. The engine is combined with 5 speed automatic transmission.
