The Honda Sensing suite of electronic driver aids, including automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and traffic sign recognition, is standard equipment for all Accord trims. After the facelift, the adaptive cruise control received smoother automatic braking calibration, and the lane-keeping system centers the car more precisely.

The range of powertrains remained unchanged. The 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo produces 195 hp and 260 Nm of torque, and the 2.0-liter VTEC Turbo produces 255 hp and 370 Nm. The 1.5-liter engine is paired with a CVT, while the 2.0-liter is paired exclusively with a 10-speed torque-converter automatic.

The combined output of the hybrid powertrain is 215 hp and 315 Nm. It combines a 2.0-liter gasoline VTEC engine operating on the Atkinson cycle, two electric motors, and a battery. The first electric motor drives the car, the second serves as a starter-generator, while the internal combustion engine generates energy to replenish the battery. The hybrid can operate in three modes: all-electric, hybrid (the engine runs but is not connected to the wheels), and direct engine drive (the engine is used without a transmission, so it can be used in a limited speed range). The manufacturer-stated average fuel consumption of the hybrid is 4.9 L. It is also worth noting that after the update the hybrid received a recalibrated brake-by-wire braking system with a more natural response.

The list of available equipment for the Accord includes 19-inch wheels, a keyless access system (as well as remote engine start), a sunroof, leather upholstery, front seats with power adjustments, heating and ventilation, a head-up display, a wide-angle rearview camera, parking sensors, and a 450-watt audio system with 10 speakers.
