Honda HR-V is a crossover vehicle of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive that belongs to the K1 category. The version of the North American market was introduced in the summer of 2022.

This generation of the HR-V in the North American market is very different than that in Europe, as the latter was introduced in April 2021.

The American one is an analog of the Chinese Honda ZR-V, however, constructed on the eleventh-generation Civic with a multi-link rear suspension. It is based on this platform that this HR-V became the largest in the history of the model: length – 4567 mm, width – 2088 mm, the wheelbase – 2655 mm. In comparison, the size of the European-market crossover is 4340/2028/2610 mm respectively.

The Civic also shared its interior with the HR-V besides the platform. In this case, the instrument cluster and the multimedia system are fitted with 7-inch screens as standard, and a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can be installed optionally. The Honda Sensing driver-assistance package with an enhanced adaptive cruise control is also the standard feature as well.

The American HR-V is powered by one naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engine with 160 hp and 187 Nm of power.

The engine is a CVT and front-wheel drive; the AWD is optional.
