Honda Civic Coupe is a coupe of the G1 type that is targeted to the U.S. market. In November 2013, the ninth generation of the model was launched as the facelifted model at the SEMA International Tuning Show in Las Vegas.

Honda has not randomly decided on the location of the premiere of Civic Coupe. The point is that during the 1980s and 1990s this model became one of the primary platforms on which tuner creativity was going. It is evident that Honda thinks that the existing model of the coupe would be able to revive those slightly forgotten traditions.

The Civic Coupe is available with rearview camera, Bluetooth HandsFree and Bluetooth Audio interface, USB and iPod input, Pandora internet radio, SMS message sending interface, sliding central armrest, multifunction steering wheel, lane-departure warning system, forward-collision warning system, and other features depending on the level of trim.

Another aspect is a new type of LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring system, which, however, does not have the full-fledged analogues nowadays and extends the field of view to 80 degrees. It has a camera in the right side mirror that sends a panoramic picture of the road condition at the right hand side and behind the car, to the i-MID display. The graphic is displayed in case the right turn signal has been switched on or when the turn-signal stalk button is pressed at the end of the stalk. Moreover, the facelifted Civic will have the HondaLink system that connects the car with the smartphone of the owner and allows accessing the multimedia data and other information through the use of cloud technologies.

The Honda Civic Coupe engine is driven by a 1.8 liter gasoline inline-four with a 143 hp and a 175 Nm of torque at 4300 rpm. The engine is also accompanied by 5-speed manual or updated CVT- internal friction was cut and the ratio range was increased- it resulted in consumption rate of 7.84 / 6.03 and 7.13 liters per 100 km in the city, highway and combined cycle respectively.
