2011 Honda Civic Sedan is a sport adaptation of a front-wheel-drive C-section car designed in the U.S. market. The ninth-generation model is the facelifted version of the model, which was introduced at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Although the ninth-generation Civic sedan was only released in 2011, only one year after its release the Japanese had to implement several changes. The vehicle was given a new grill, modified bumpers, new-shaped exhaust tip, and special wheels. Moreover, the 2011 Honda Civic Sedan is unique with a rear diffuser having a honeycomb-shaped insert and a rear wing, rather than the trunk-lid spoiler that is utilized in the pre-facelift model.

The interior of the Honda Civic also changed in some aspects. Specifically, designers have devised a new color scheme, re-thought the lower portion of the center console, included glossy trim rings to the air vents, and redesigned the climate-control panel.

Among the standard features of the Civic, there is a rearview camera, Bluetooth HandsFree and Bluetooth Audio system, USB and iPod input, Pandora internet radio, SMS sending interface, and sliding center armrest, and the multifunctional steering wheel. There is also an optional lane-departure warning system, forward-collision warning system, and many others.

In technical features, the Civic does not have as many changes as compared to the old one. They retained the platform architecture, but re-tuned the suspension and steering and fitted the car with a limited-slip differential, which theoretically will enhance the car behavior somewhat.

The Honda Civic sedan is powered by a 2.4-liter inline-four engine i-vtec. This has a 201 hp engine at 7,000 rpm, with a 6-speed manual transmission.
