The styling of the 2024 Honda Civic is the reverse of the last model; plain, serene lines and surfaces now prevail on the exterior design evoking the appearance of the model in the 1990s. One distinctive element of the generation is the increased length and flatter hood (the A-pillars were repositioned to the rear by almost 50 mm), the revival of the small rear door windows behind the rear door, and a more rounded tailgate line (which, though, did not lead to a reduction in rear headroom due to the hinge design no longer visible). Incidentally, the tailgate itself is currently composed of composite materials.

Indoors, there are also calm restrained shapes: the straight dashboard curves, the complete-width strip of air vents, the center tunnel, the infotainment and climate-control blocks all contribute to the feeling of neatness and order in the cabin. The manufacturer claims that the Civic uses better-quality trim materials, and the control effort/feel was also addressed.

Hiked rear passengers by 36 mm of more legroom (an equivalent increase in wheelbase of this Civic), reduction in cargo volume accommodating 728 liters down to 694 liters (SAE method). Nevertheless, convenience should increase in loading: the size of the cargo aperture was enlarged, and the loading level, conversely, decreased.
