The 10th-generation Accord may be powered with two four-cylinder engines with either 1.5-liter turbo with 192 hp and a 260 Nm or 2.0 liter turbo with 252 hp and a 350 Nm. The first engine has the option of a CVT and a classic 6-speed manual; the second one will have an in-house 10-speed automatic or a manual. Drive is front-wheel only. Some suspension parts were revised but the structure remained the same: MacPherson struts in the front and a multi-link in the rear. Adaptive dampers that have two running programs can also be installed in the car.

There was also a modification of the interior space: the sitting position of both front and rear passengers was lowered by two centimeters (it can be guessed that, in case of rear passengers, it is a cost of the sloping roof), and the gap between the rows was extended by five centimeters. The front section of the cabin has been changed, as well: the most prominent feature is an 8-inch multimedia display that is placed on the top; below this is the climate-control panel with three rotary knobs. The 2018 Honda Accord does not feature a conventional gear lever anymore, instead it features buttons. A virtual instrument cluster of 7 inches is in the background of the traditional multifunction steering wheel.
