The interior of 2018 Honda CR-V has also been changed to a great extent. A 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with a center console is the main feature of the modern dashboard, under which is the climate-control panel, which is, again, ergonomically placed as in the previous models, as well as a gear selector. The steering wheel was also redesigned, the instrument cluster was completely digitalized and comprises of three parts.

Due to the enlargement of the total size, the interior appeared much more spacious and accommodating to the passengers. To add to the list of things, the manufacturer changed the trim and finishing material to a more modern and high-quality one. The optional equipment list has also been expanded and such features as power and heated front seats, eight airbags, adaptive cruise control, hill-start and hill-descent assist, tire-pressure monitoring sensors, adaptive electric power steering, a collision-mitigation system, a lane-departure warning system, and road-departure warning have been included.

2018 Honda CR-V features modular chassis having a complete independent suspension with MacPherson struts in the front and multi-link in the rear. The engineers also changed the anti-roll bars, installed lesser friction shock absorbers and raised the ground clearance. Besides front-wheel-drive models, they are also available with a proprietary Real Time AWD system, which is capable of delivering up to 40 percent of the torque to the rear wheels.
