Honda CR-V is a small crossover of the K1 class. The North American version officially premiered at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2016. The European version was unveiled to the general crowd in the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017.

Honda CR-V 5th-generation had a more conservative look than the one of the previous generation. The body acquired more traditional forms that were common in most contemporary crossovers in this category. The designers primarily eliminated the feeling of the falling roof, swelled out the rear wheel arches, and made the wheelbase longer, and it is currently 2,261 mm +41. It had a different grille on the front end, as well as a redesigned bumper that had C-shaped stampings on the sides. The huge vertical taillights that were similar to those found in its predecessor were also carried to the rear, albeit extended to the tailgate. Other distinguishing characteristics are broad lower-body protection covering that has ornamental inserts on the bottom edge of the car.

The Honda CR-V in the European market comes with a 24 liter gasoline powered engine with 184 hp and 244 Nm torque. In the case of U.S. cars, one can also have a 1.5-liter turbocharged Earth Dreams unit, which has a rating of 190 hp (243 Nm). They both use a continuously variable transmission.
