Honda CR-V has already been updated in the United States. Every CR-V model, such as the entry-level LX and EX got a new 9-inch screen of the information and vital system with a lack of drone connections required by the majority of drivers CarPlay and Android Auto.

Every CR-V also has a wireless phone charger and EX-L, TrailSport, Sport-L and Sport Touring models are currently offered with a larger 10.2-inch digital charger. The information and communication system with the increased Google functions are also offered in the top-end Sport Touring version, which is also presented in other models of the brand.

Wheels and TrailSport

Moreover, the equipment list comprises new 18-inch wheels that have a unique design in Trailsport and 19-inch wheels that are used in Sport Touring. In actual sense, Trailsport version equally possesses all-terrain tires and distinctive design features.

Design and dimensions

Regarding style, the Honda CR-V is designed in a more classy way, with sportiness and far more European. The front is characterized by its sharp LED headlights, which are of the shape of the new generation Honda Civic, as well as a huge grille and quite aerodynamic bumper with large central air intake and small openings at each end.

First problems

According to the former company, CarComplaints, most of the issues have been registered in the 2017 CR-V. Engine defects were the primary cause of dissatisfaction in that they made the cabin strongly smelled of gasoline. The issue was created as a result of the spillage of the fire into the olive tree, which eventually damaged the internal parts of the unit.

According to CarComplaints, in most instances the official service centers were unable to identify accurately the reason behind software failures.

Electrification and design evolution

This time, the sixth generation of this popular SUV is a very important development in the CR-V of Honda. It completely passes over into the period of electrification, and to its own values, which have never been wanting, introduces propulsion systems to varying degrees of electrification, which can claim to be highly effective and, not the least, efficient.

The design of Honda CR-V has also changed with time. The modern generation of this SUV presents a picture, which consists of strong, muscular appearance and extremely graceful lines. The bigger and more noticeable grille is on the front of the car and is surrounded by streamlined LED headlights with a daytime strip of the light at the top, which overstates the width of the car. The light clusters at the back are vertical and have a very distinctive signature of light attracting so much attention. Moreover, the roof rails, black plastic protections, and wheel arches, also make it look very adventurous.

Very large, comfortable and useful

The body of the Honda CR-V is spacious. It has a length of 4.70 meters, a width and height of 1.86 and 1.68 meters respectively, as well as, a 2.70 meters wheelbase. These dimensions allow it to offer one of the most ample interiors where five occupants can ride with a high level of comfort and it is of the best in this segment particularly in the back seat with excellent legroom and headroom. Besides, a transmission tunnel that is minimally intrusive is very beneficial when it comes to comforting the middle passenger.
