Among other things, Honda claims that the facelifted 2016 CR-V is improved in isolation against noise and vibrations and also has a new suspension. Specifically, the bushings, shock absorbers and steering knuckles in the front suspension along with the rear control arms were all tuned to the extent of ride smoothness. Front and rear tracks were widened 15 mm and camber had been raised half a degree. But that’s not all. Engineers also raised the steering ratio by 8 percent in order to make the responses to the inputs of the steering more accurate and faster.

On the issue of security, the 2016 Honda CR-V introduced the SENSING system- an advanced form of the Advanced Driving Assist Systems that involves a camera and radar. This does not substitute the larger package of driver assistance features of forward-collision warning, blind-spot detection, lane-keep and so on. Nevertheless, Honda introduced one more system that can be added to the list of options: Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (i-ACC). On the one hand, it is a well-known adaptive cruise control that now has new functions. It was designed to respond fast by engineers even in cases where the CR-V is suddenly cut off, that is, the electronics lessons were to look at both the front and the side.
